 Our Team

Hey, I'm Sean and I am the owner and the founding Physiotherapist at Sage. I have a passion for all things sports physiotherapy and I take real pride in being able to educate my clients about their body.

I have been a physiotherapist for over 10 years and have worked with teams and athletes at the national and international level in football, swimming, downhill skiing, triathlon, surf lifesaving, climbing, kayaking and surfing. I have also held a clinical educator position with the University of British Columbia and have mentored a few students from Griffith University Masters program here in Queensland.

My treatment style focuses on hands-on techniques including massage, joint mobilization and manipulation. I am also certified to provide traditional Chinese acupuncture and dry needling. As well as these treatment modalities I have additional certifications in vestibular therapy and concussion management, and over 10 years experience working with clients with vertigo, BPPV and concussions.

I enjoy an active lifestyle, I have dabbled in many sports over the years; swimming nationally for Canada, participating in triathlon, ski racing, climbing, surf lifesaving as well as casually participating in golf, squash, yoga, cycling and I am happy to try anything to get the heart pumping! On the weekends you can find me either volunteering with Alexandra Headland Surf Life Saving Club, working alongside the Sunshine Coast Fire FC or playing at the beach with my two kids and dogs.

Lewis Croft

Exercise Physiologist

Hey, I’m Lewis, and I am a passionate about empowering clients from within that leads to optimum health and wellness, and contain a deep interest in movement. From a young age, I discovered my innate drive to engage in physical activities, and this enthusiasm has shaped my journey ever since.

My primary passion lies in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), and has become an integral part of my life. The discipline, strategy, and physicality of the sport not only challenges me physically but also instils in me a sense of personal growth.

The path that led me to my current profession has always been intertwined with movement. My fascination with the human body's capabilities, coupled with my desire to explore various physical disciplines, ultimately led me to pursue a career centred around movement and sport. The notion of helping others harness their potential and witness the transformative power of physical activity was a calling I simply couldn't ignore. For me, movement is not just a physical expression; it is a way of life. It has taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of embracing challenges.

Through my dedication to BJJ and my profession, I aim to inspire others to embark on their own transformative journeys and experience the joy and fulfilment that movement brings.

Paul Platis Physiotherapist

Hello there, I'm Paul!

Health and fitness have always been a passion of mine since I was young. I have vivid memories of accompanying my mum to her physiotherapy appointments after her knee surgery, which was the result of a skiing injury. Watching her progress through a six-month rehab process, from walking with crutches to performing squats with weights, left a lasting impression on me.

Over the years, I've participated in various sports, but powerlifting has become a true passion of mine. I pursued my interest further and earned qualifications in strength and conditioning, as well as powerlifting coaching. It brings me joy to coach and support people on their journey to building strength and getting back to the activities they love, whether it's tennis, running, swimming, or even riding motorcycles.

Beyond my work, family time is incredibly important to me. We're always on the lookout for new places to swim, exciting tracks to walk, or charming cafes to explore together.

If you have a niggle that's holding you back from enjoying the activities you love, don't hesitate to reach out. I'd be thrilled to learn more about your pain and assist you on your journey to recovery.
