Our Physiotherapists at Sage, in Mooloolaba are qualified and titled health care professionals, registered with AHPRA and Medicare. We can assess and manage many musculoskeletal and vestibular conditions.
Our Physiotherapists have all completed a Masters degree and have many hours additional training in skills management and enhancement. Treatment with our team involves patient education, hands-on therapy and exercise prescription.
Sage Physio can provide a wide range of treatment for injury recovery, sports Physio, vestibular therapy, disability management, paediatric Physio and much more. We welcome new patients for private treatments and also offer group Pilates classes.

Meet our Physio’s…
Paul is a AHPRA registered physiotherapist and qualified strength coach. Having qualifications in both physiotherapy and strength coaching provides him with the skills and knowledge to treat from early injury to full recovery
Since graduating from the University of Sydney with a Masters in Physiotherapy in 2015, Paul has developed knowledge and experience in treating various types of acute injuries, sports injuries, chronic pain and degenerative conditions. His key areas of interest include lower back pain, neck pain, headaches, shoulder pain, knee pain, hip pain, lifting injuries and running injuries.
Paul is passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities get back to their meaningful activities. He aims to support people throughout their recovery journey by helping individuals understand their condition better, provide hands-on therapy to reduce pain, and prescribe restorative exercises to improve function. He is committed to using the most current and best research to guide his treatment plans to ensure patients achieve positive treatment outcomes and results.
Outside of the clinic Paul enjoys listening to a good audiobook or podcast, refining his skills in cooking, attempting to beat his best deadlift and spending time at the beach with his wife and son.
Natalie is a AHPRA registered physiotherapist in both NZ and Australia. She completed a 4-year bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia before moving to New Zealand. In New Zealand, she completed her Masters at University of Auckland where she gained experience from A and E at Auckland city hospital to working alongside the NZ touch rugby squad.
She has worked in sport’s physiotherapy alongside athletes from various sports such as rugby, triathlon, hockey, netball, endurance running, and many more. She has a special interest in concussion or head injury, thoracic or neck pain, lower back pain, and shoulder injuries, especially traumatic or sports related. Natalie utilises a variety of hands-on techniques such as dry needling, massage, and mobilisations to provide pain relief and improve function alongside comprehensive exercise prescription to target strength and injury prevention. She believes in the importance of educating patients about their injury and recovery to stimulate self-management and confidence with returning to activity and sport.
Natalie has experience in working with all ages and has skills in relationship building that creates a safe and comfortable environment for her patients. She aims to make physiotherapy a positive experience for anyone dealing with chronic or acute injuries.
When not in the clinic, you can find Natalie in the water catching waves, walking on the beach, perfecting her golf swing, or chasing snow. She is extremely active and is willing to give any new activity a try!
Meet our founding Sports Physio…
Sean Bell became a physiotherapist through his love of sports and activity. He completed 8 years of university and holds a BSc and MSc Physiotherapy and is a Titled Sport Physiotherapist.
His assessment is thorough. He tries to get to know his clients and connect with them so he can understand their needs and which treatment approach will work best.
He prefers hands-on treatment with some exercise prescription. Sean has a wealth of experience and additional training in Vestibular therapy and concussion management, and has successfully been helping people with vertigo and BPPV for the past 10 years. Sean is also a fully accredited to provide traditional Chinese acupuncture as well as dry needling which have both been shown to provide great relief of pain in the muscle.
Children tend to love him as he has a bright personality and knows how to connect with a child to make their time fun and engaging.
Sean is an active member of the Alexandra Headland Surf Life Saving Club, he was a national level swimmer for Canada, he loves to rock climb and will give a good go at pretty much any outdoor activity! When Sean isn’t in the clinic with Clients, Patrolling the beach or travelling with the Sunshine Coast Wanderers FC he is spending time with his two young kids, wife and chocolate lab.
