Group Exercise Classes
Group Exercise Classes We offer small group exercise classes in Mooloolaba. The purpose is to assist clients in their rehab journey. They are also a service to the public who wish to increase or maintain fitness in a fun, safe, environment.
Because our classes are small (maximum 4 people) we are able to individually tailor exercises to suit clients needs. Each class can be modified for injuries, ability and goals. Our clinical Pilates classes in Mooloolaba are not just for clients rehab but can be cross training for athletes.
Each class is run by our Exercise Physiologist, so you know you are getting expert advice and it is covered by most extras plans for Private Health.

Clinical Pilates is Pilates with a purpose. Every exercise is chosen and adapted to your body — your strengths, your restrictions, and whatever you're working towards, whether that's recovering from an injury, managing pain, or simply moving better.
For some people, Pilates is the main focus of their movement practice. For others, it's the tune-up that keeps them going in the sport or activity they love — running, golf, surfing, or just keeping up with life. Either way, the goal is the same: to help you move with more confidence, efficiency, and longevity.
What makes it so effective is the attention it demands. You can't zone out during Pilates — it asks you to be present, and in doing so it teaches you things about your own body: where you're strong, where you're tight, where you compensate. Precision and alignment matter, and small adjustments (a foot position, a subtle rotation) change how effectively you connect to the right muscles.
We draw on a range of equipment — mat, reformer, and other apparatus — chosen based on what will serve you best, always guided by the Pilates principles.
Introducing our Parkinson's Exercise Groups: Empowering individuals, one movement at a time.
At Sage, we understand the unique challenges faced by those living with Parkinson's disease. That's why we've created our specialised Parkinson’s exercise groups on the Sunshine Coast. They provide an approach to managing the symptoms and enhancing overall well-being in those suffering from Parkinson’s. Led by our exercise physiologist, our groups offer a safe and supportive environment for individuals to come together and engage in tailored movement sessions. These exercises are carefully curated to address the specific motor and non-motor symptoms associated with Parkinson's disease, such as tremors, rigidity, balance issues, and reduced mobility.
By focusing on targeted exercises, including stretching, strength training, balance drills, and coordination exercises, our Parkinson's Exercise Groups help participants improve their motor skills, increase flexibility, and enhance overall function. The sessions are thoughtfully designed to accommodate different fitness levels and individual needs, ensuring that everyone can actively participate and progress at their own pace.
But our exercise groups offer much more than just physical benefits. They create a sense of community and connection among participants who share similar experiences, and inspire one another throughout their Parkinson's journey. Joining our Parkinson's Exercise Groups means joining a community where individuals feel empowered, supported, and understood but also to make connections and discover a renewed sense of hope.
